Objective of Meeting
The main goal of the meeting was to present the report for one of the ArchiMate Standard practical application projects: Financial Reference Architecture Model – Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN) and the ArchiMate® Language.
The Project was presented by one of the Forum activity leaders, Patrick Derde.
Summary
The proposed Financial Reference Architecture Model current ctivities, status, and roadmap were presented and discussed. Also, the BIAN structure and composition were presented as an example of networking and collaboration of The Open Group with other standards organizations.
Several useful comments and suggestions were delivered by attendees to improve the work-in-progress and also to pursue more members' engagement in the activity and to give the work more visibility.
Outputs
Detailed meeting minutes, list of comments delivered by attendees, and actions defined to support the activity.
Next Steps
The session was mostly informative so no specific decisions were taken. Activity will continue according to the Forum plans, and the project charter and roadmap.
