San Francisco 2016: Proceedings - OTTF

The Open Group Trusted Technology Forum (OTTF)

(Wednesday, January 27)

Objective of Meeting

The objectives for Wednesday were to:

  1. Incorporate any final suggestions for the Draft ISO PAS Submission Form (see Tuesday).
  2. Review and edit the draft response to the NIST RFI for feedback on the Cybersecurity Framework.
  3. Re-visit the project that was approved to begin last year: the Manager’s Guide to the O-TTPS Accreditation Program and to agree on some next steps for that project.

Summary

Draft ISO PAS Submission Form

The Draft ISO PAS Submission Form is complete and will be passed onto the Sponsor and the Steering Committee for further review prior to getting it approved by the Standards Director.

NIST RFI

The Draft of the Response to the NIST RFI for feedback on the Cybersecurity Framework was reviewed and will likely not be submitted as a collective response from the OTTF, but the response may be used by any organization wishing to submit their own responses individually, should they so choose.

Manager's Guide to the O-TTPS Accreditation Program

Some next steps on the Manager’s Guide were discussed – it was decided that a small group of people will begin by drafting an outline and progressively populating it with content that will be reviewed initially by the Framework Work Stream and then put into Forum Review for additional comments.
