Objective of Meeting

The main goal of the meeting was to present concepts about Enterprise Architecture and Agile development, which are in alignment with the Agile Architecture Framework™ Snapshot. The session was delivered by Gordon Cooper from MEGA. The objective was to get feedback and comments from attendees.

Summary

The meeting started with Gordon's presentation. Different concepts and best practices around Enterprise Architecture and Agile were presented. The presentation was based on a practical view of the two practices showing the main differences, places for alignment and potential techniques to be applied to deliver Enterprise Architecture following an Agile style, and also how Enterprise Architecture and Agile can support and leverage each other.

Outputs

  • A set of  recommendations about Enterprise Architecture and Agile that could be harvested and leveraged as part of the related Forum activities
  • Feedback received from Forum members in relation to the ideas and concepts presented and how this content could be leveraged into related Forum activities

Next Steps

  • Continue with the Agile activities in the Forum applying points from the discussion
  • Keep the ongoing communication with the Forum and Agile-related Work Groups
