Masateru Awatsu is the Deputy Head of the Uvance Core Technology Unit within Fujitsu Limited’s Global Solution Business Group. Masateru has worked for Fujitsu since 1992, beginning in the system integration business in the telecommunications industry. He worked on technology standardization of system integration in 2004. In 2018, he was made Vice Head of the Digital Co-Creation Project in the Fujitsu Laboratory with the aim of driving digital business with advanced technology through customer co-creation.
In 2020, he was promoted to Head of Software Technology Business Unit to provide technology-based solution services to reinforce advanced technology to drive Digital Transformation.
In 2022, he was appointed to his current role of Deputy Head of the Uvance Core Technology Unit to contribute to Fujitsu’s Uvance business to solve social issues with advanced technology.
