Q. What do you do, and how long have you been doing it? 
I manage a group of mostly geoscientist focused on providing support and advancing technology for the geoscientist community at Anadarko Petroleum.

Q: Why did your organization become a member of The Open Group and what does your involvement look like? 
We are involved with Shell’s initiative called Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU).

Q: How has membership in The Open Group benefited you, your organization and the industry at large?
We are still in the infancy but so far it has greatly increased our collaboration and keeps us organized.

Q: What contributions do you hope to bring to The Open Group?
We would hope to provide a little innovation and out of the box thoughts.

Q: Why is it important for other organizations to join The Open Group?
OG provides a place for peers and community to collaborate in the field of subsurface data management.

Q: What are your hobbies?
Great question! Growing up on the Texas Gulf Coast I never miss a chance to hunt, fish and surf. I’m also an avid Rugby fan.

Q: What book are you currently reading?
I recently started a book called The Son of God in the Roman World: Social and Political Context

Q.  What social networks do you belong to?
Not a big social network person. I have a LinkedIn and Instagram account.
