How long have you been involved with The Open Group? 

Due to our professional relationships with some of the member companies, we have been watching OPAF from afar for a while, but recently after presenting the EdgeLox story at OPAF and its relevance, we believe there is a huge synergy between OPAF and EdgeLox and decided to become a member recently.

What do you do, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been driving products and technology at the Industrial Edge and IoT for close to a decade now at various organizations and recently decided to found EdgeLox that provides a secure Edge Platform the workload orchestration and execution.

Why did your organization become a Member of The Open Group Open Process Automation™ Forum and what does/will your involvement look like?

Recently, I presented the EdgeLox story and its relevance at OPAF and we believe there is a huge synergy between OPAF and EdgeLox. We intend to work closely with the member companies and be an active member in the security and orchestration subcommittees in addition to active participation in others.

How has/will membership in The Open Group benefit you, your organization, and the industry at large?

EdgeLox provides a secure platform at the Edge for Workload orchestration and execution and I hope we can help define the security needs and the security reference architecture for the industrial edge.

What contributions do you hope to bring to The Open Group?

I hope to bring my experiences with the Industrial Edge, federation and Security to the Open architecture.

Why is it important for other organizations to join The Open Group?

The Open Group is a great way to collaborate with enterprises driving next gen open industrial architecture in addition to contributing the evolving standards.

What are your hobbies?

I spend most of my weekends playing Tennis and Cricket or spending time with my family (wife, kids and puppy) doing interesting stuff around the community.

SWITCH – This is about driving fundamental, high impact changes within organizations.
