    How long have you been involved with The Open Group?

    I have been involved with The Open Group since our early adoption of the TOGAF® framework back in 2007. 

    What do you do, and how long have you been doing it?

    I have held many senior level positions working across various industries in both the public and private sector. With over 20 years’ professional experience spanning customs reform and modernization, legislation, software development and banking. Currently, I am leading Innovation Management within my organization along with Enterprise Architecture. My focus is on transforming the organization to become the leader of its domain. 

    Why did your organization become a Member of The Open Group Architecture Forum and what does your involvement look like?

    The Enterprise Architecture practice has been a critical pillar driving alignment of enterprise capabilities with corporate strategic objectives. Through implementing and adopting practices such as Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Development and Improvement as well as Innovation Management, we aim to transform the organization to reach competitive advantage. Our contributions have helped the organization make better strategic decisions and sound investments.

    How has membership in The Open Group benefited you, your organization, and the industry at large?

    This Membership gives us the chance to connect with other EA practitioners and learn about the latest in the industry and allows us to contribute through our experience to further enhancing and increasing the adoption of EA practices.

    What contributions do you hope to bring to The Open Group?

    The ability to share with The Open Group how we utilized the standard and best practices of EA in the public sector in addition to sharing our success stories. 

    Why is it important for other organizations to join The Open Group?

    To raise the maturity of EA practices within the organization and leverage the network of expertise that lead to value realization.

    Attending industry conferences and connecting with likeminded people

    Brief Bio         

    I am a PhD Researcher in Computer Science in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, Innovation Management, Knowledge Management, Blockchain, Smart Cities, and Internet of Things. I have many publications in reputable journals and conferences and have won several professional awards. My responsibilities not only include managing and inspiring innovation within the organization; it also includes leading the Enterprise Architecture, Research and Development, Business Process Design and Improvement functions that produced a number of innovative initiatives and services. I am the catalyst of change and modernization through the introduction of non-conventional means to transform the business from a strategic perspective.
